  1. Clichy 7? Were you watching the game? Every time a cross came in, he was the one who let it through. He never blocks crosses, he was at fault on the line for their second, his positional sense is woeful and other teams target him because they know how vulnerable he is.
How you can give the centrebacks those ratings when the entire world saw how shaky we were is beyond me…

  2. Clichy dint do much wrong he deserves his rating though i still think he is a weak link on the team,he gives many balls away and makes kosielny look bad trying to cover him.Arsh had awonderful evening no doubt,Squillaci he always has quite games,my player of the evening was chamakh i think he is becaming adaily reporter

  3. I thought Rosicky was better than that. He made a big difference – he never looks like scoring these days, but his experience and intelligence both with and without the ball really shone through.

Anyhow, 17 points away from home – who’d have thought it at this stage of the season? More impressive still is the identity of the five teams we have beaten on the road: Blackburn, City, Wolves, Everton and now Villa – all tough matches, and I doubt anyone will match the 15 points we have taken from those games this season.

Now we just need to play with the handbrake off at home, as Arsene would say. Fulham next weekend – the worst travellers in the PL. We couldn’t have hand-picked a better opponent to take out our Emirates frustrations on …
