Arsenal v Leyton- Preview

After playing Barcelona on Wednesday, the FA Cup 5th round tie against Leyton Orient doesn’t seem like an actual football match. Going from Barcelona to Leyton will be a tricky fixture, and we shouldn’t just expect this to be a win.

Arsenal are going to be on a huge high after beating Barca, but this could be a bad thing or a good thing. We might win this game 10-0 from the confidence, or lose this game because we feel we are the best. Arsenal are also well know for their complacency so it we should use the Barca game as the start of being consistent, not a losing streak.

Wenger will probably field a much weakened side after having played Wednesday and we are also going to play Stoke City this Wednesday, so expect a weekend squad. I hope he doesn’t field to many reserve players, but I am hoping for this squad,

Almunia- Sagna- Squillaci- Djourou- Gibbs- Denilson- Rosicky- Nasri- Bendtner- Arshavin- Chamakh

I would start Nasri and take him off after something like 60 minutes and put on Cesc. Wenger will probably swap out goalkeepers and Djourou may start.

Match Prediction- Leyton 0-2 Arsenal

  1. the key word on that game is complacency if arsenal go all out and do the damage early instead of tryin to comeback, the game will be easy.
