Arsenal v Aston Villa- Match Preview

So Man City won the FA cup, Utd the Premier League, and Arsenal nothing. Seems like a typical Arsenal season.

Anyways, Arsenal play Villa in a match that we should win. Arsenal will be hoping to finish the season on a high, and Wenger will hoping for a good performance following last week’s terrible match against Stoke.

Laurent Koscielny, Fabregas, and Nasri are all set to miss the game, meaning Vermaelen, Ramsey, and Walcott will most likely start. It is also rumored Miquel and Conor Henderson are in the side, and will probably start from the bench.

I am expecting Arsene to put out a 4-5-1: Szczesny, Clichy, Vermaelen, Djourou, Sagna- Wilshere, Ramsey, Song,Arshavin, Walcott- Van Persie

I am not a believer that a 4-5-1 is the right formation for us. Many times a game you see Van Persie coming out of position and we need another player to partner him at the top. Wenger should really go for someone like Benzema because another striker could be key for us next season.

Match Prediction: Arsenal 2-2 Aston Villa

Arsenal has no defence and we will concede two goals after Van Persie gets a brace. Unlike almost every other game this season, I don’t see Villa attacking from set pieces and set pieces only. Villa have some really talented players and will most likely attack us from the wings.

Come on Arsenal!
