Pathetic Arsenal lose 4-3 to 20th place Blackburn

Unbelievable. Arsenal played really, really well during the first half and it started when Gervinho scored his first Arsenal goal. Song played a lovely ball in which Gervinho placed into the bottom of Paul Robinson’s corner. Than Yakubu scored his first Blackburn goal with a good finish against Wojciech Szczesny.

Arteta than opened up his Arsenal account with a brilliant finish into the roof of the net. Alex Song than conceded a poor own goal from a set piece that was never going anywhere.

Things went from bad to worse when Blackburn scored a CLEAR offside goal from a corner. Koscielny than scored a comical own goal to make the score 4-2.

Maroune Chamakh scored his first Premier League goal since November to make the score 4-3. Arsenal than had several opportunities, all of which to be wasted as The Gunners lost their third league game of the season.

  1. I share your sentiment 100%. It is about time the manager considered the exit door out of the Emirates stadium or else, we could be staring at a long hard season which may end with us flirting dangerously with relegation. Remember Liverpool last season! they were on the same slippery road until they intervened with the appointment of King Kenny. I am afraid the manager has lost his dressing room, and no longer has the support of the players. The earlier we act, the better it will be for us. Arsene Wenger’s continious use of Arshavin in key games, will continue to be the sore point of our season. Sack Wenger now, before it is too late.

  2. Just as we are finding out now that Clichy and Eboue were not our problems, we still will find out that Arshavin and Koscielny are no problems, if the coach can help with a little quality around them. Indeed, IMO, the worst Arsenal player today is Aaron Ramsey (I deliberately left Djorou out because he just doesn’t belong here). He slowed down the attack, twists and turns endlessly when he should have passed, and generally did everything wrong, which has been part of our bane for the season. No wonder he has been a constant (just like Djorou) in our worst games. Why cant Benayoun continue fron where he stopped again Dortmund? And to Djorou, what more can I say, his mere presence scared even his teammates. My problem isn’t that we have been so bad, but that it looks like it will continue, because today, just like in old Trafford, Wenge looked like he didn’t have a clue. And what do you do to clueless managers? Ditch them, pure and simple. He has had more than 3years to fix this team and it is high time we get a new hand. It is only in Arsenal that we forget the old cliche ‘A coach is only as good as his last result’. Tell Wenger’s heroics to the crows, my graes in elementary school didn’t get me through college. A sensible coach would have had Cahill and Eboue in his back four instead of Djorou and Metersacker.. Let’s save ourselves from heataches by pushing this man who would rather save some millions than rescue the team.
