Berbatov to Arsenal in January?

Recent reports are linking Arsenal to the experienced Bulgarian striker as a possible striker option during the January transfer window. Arsenal have been linked to a plethora of strikers this season, and any chance of Wenger signing a £20m+ striker seems very unlikely. Arsenal are lacking a reliable centre forward to be backup to Giroud, with Bendtner showing a desire to get out of the club as quickly as possible (despite scoring an Heskey esque header against Hull).

Berbatov is said to be looking to leave Fulham due to a poor start to the season. He has experience in the league and racked up an impressive seventeen goals last season. Berbatov has played for two of our biggest rivals in Tottenham and Man Utd, and seems to do everything very nonchalantly. Will he be a good signing for us? Vote and leave a comment below.

Benezema’s Agent Gives Important Update

No way Arsenal!

Arsenal have been linked with a plethora of strikers this transfer window, and so far all we have failed in the pursuits to sign one of these players. The trend looks to be remaining as Benzema’s agent has effectively said that Benzema has no chance of joining Arsenal.

“We can’t stop the rumours. But I tell you: Karim will not go to Arsenal. It’s never been a question for him and no contact has been made.

“He will stay at Madrid. The probable arrival of Gareth Bale at Real Madrid doesn’t threaten him at all. Cristiano Ronaldo and Bale will play on the wings and Karim in the centre.’

“Karim could very well finish his career at Real, the club of his dreams.”

Not much of a surprise that Benzema won’t be leaving as Real only have on num 9 striker. Oh how we should have signed Higuain and got this whole thing done with.

Arsenal Poised to Sign Alexsandar Mitrovic?

It appears that Wenger’s interest in signing promising youth players is not coming to an end anytime soon, as reports are suggesting that Arsenal could be set to sign 18-year old Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic. Mitrovic is 6″2, already has experience in the Champions League and Europa League, and was voted into the Serbian team of the season. Not to shabby if you ask me. He seems like genuine talent and I will be delighted to sign him. Check him out in action here.

Szczesny Proves that he is Arsenal Through and Through

Szczesny, our legendary keeper, has told us what motivates him most.

He told The Sun: “I deeply believed that this team could fight for the title and trophies.Live on Sky Sports

“We have to finish the season fighting for other objectives.

“Currently we are in fourth place and that is the minimum for us because this club has to be in the Champions League every year.

“After the Tottenham game we reduced the gap to them a little bit.

“It is obvious that it is my ambition to finish the season in front of them… because I hate them.

“We have to find a different kind of motivation now. At the beginning of the season all teams fight for the title. Now we are not in this fight.

“We have to finish this season as well as we can.”

Szczesny believes the 5-2 thrashing of their bitter rivals has helped fans forgive boss Arsene Wenger and his players after a disappointing season.

He added: “Our fans can forgive a lot of things. After the Spurs match they forgave Arsene Wenger.

“Trust me. When you win against Tottenham it’s all okay and the fans love us.

“I think there is no better coach to manage us than Arsene Wenger. We have to trust in his philosophy.

“On the other hand we know that fans are recently disappointed. Results aren’t as good as they should be.”

Would Kaka Signing be Good for us?

Recent reports have linked us with a shock move for former World Player of the Year, Kaka.

With Nasri on the verge of joining City, and Fabregas gone, we lack quality in that position. Ramsey has potential, and lots of it, but can he be a Fabregas or Nasri this season? I don’t think so. Kaka has won lots of silverware, including the Champions League and scored 7 goals in 20 appearances last season.

So would Kaka be a good signing for us? Possibly. He hasn’t done great things for Real Madrid like he did for Milan, but he has what it takes to succeed with Arsenal in the Premier League.

Would you sign Kaka?
